Cyndi Bartlett, Acupuncturist

Cyndi knows wellness involves the whole person – body, mind, and spirit. Her philosophy has led her to train in multiple modalities to better help others attain the level of wellness which they seek. Having worked in several areas of the medical field in different capacities all of her life she decided to turn to a more holistic approach and explore acupuncture. She attended an information session at a local acupuncture school and received a treatment that left her amazed at the effect it had on the recurring migraines she battled for 15+ years. Pursuing acupuncture allowed Cyndi to provide others the same kind of relief. She attended AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine, receiving her Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Cyndi's calming & nurturing nature puts you at ease during your treatments as she will always guide you through any questions you may have and puts your relaxation and wellness as her number 1 priority.

Body Accupuncture

The origins of acupuncture in China can be traced back thousands of years, making it one of the oldest and most long-standing health care systems in the world. Today, acupuncture is an effective, natural and increasingly popular form of health care that is being used by people from a wide range of cultural and social backgrounds.
Acupuncture takes a holistic approach to understanding normal function and disease processes and focuses as much on the prevention of illness as on the treatment.

Modern research has demonstrated acupuncture’s effects on the nervous system, endocrine and immune systems, cardiovascular system, and digestive system. By stimulating the body’s various systems, acupuncture can help to resolve pain, and improve sleep, digestive function, and sense of well-being. Hundreds of clinical studies on the benefits of acupuncture show that it successfully treats conditions ranging from musculoskeletal problems (back pain, neck pain, and others) to nausea, migraine headache, anxiety, depression, insomnia and many other diseases, symptoms and conditions.

Facial Accupuncture

A wonderful 100% non-surgical alternative to Botox & fillers, facial acupuncture utilizes the techniques of traditional Chinese medicine along with modern-day science to restore balance of energy that flows throughout the entire body. Natural collagen is also increased in the skin leaving guests with a youthful glow and reduction in facial wrinkles. Those with acne, dark circles, dark spots, age spots as well as other skin conditions can also benefit from the treatment. Also very relaxing!

Cupping

One of the oldest methods of Chinese medicine, cupping utilizes cups to create a vacuum that is anchored to the skin which is then pulled upward to stimulate blood flow by creating local mild trauma and drawing toxins from the muscle, deploying fresh blood and oxygen to the area.
Aside from the treatment of pain, cupping can also be used to treat respiratory conditions
such as bronchitis and asthma; arthritis; gastrointestinal disorders; depression; and menstrual cramp.

Qigong Energy Healing

Medical Qigong is an ancient form of Chinese energetic medicine, and is one of the four main branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
A relaxing escape from the stress and anxieties of life for those who may be sensitive to needles or seeking to experience a new way of healing. This treatment approach is perfect for managing stress, anxiety, depression and general wellness and can also be combined with acupuncture treatment.

Disruptions in the electromagnetic energy of the body occur throughout our lifetime as a result of poor diet, sedentary lifestyle, injuries, surgery, suppression of emotions, and aging. The goal of qigong is to correct these bio-energetic imbalances and blockages. This enables the body to strengthen and regulate the internal organs, the nervous system and the immune system, relieve pain, regulate hormones, and strengthen and release deep-seated emotions and stress.
